Ken is now available for workshop presentations. These presentations are especially effective at universities and their music schools. Ken’s expertise and experiences in the fields of music composition, arrnging, music technology and the music industry are extensive and diverse and allow him to offer a broad palette of workshops.

RECORDING TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP - In the process of composing, arranging and recording 19 of his own albums as well as producing dozens of others for other national artists, Ken has acquired a thorough knowledge of both traditional and computer based recording equipment and techniques. He designed and had built to his specifications, a professional recording studio where he has recorded, mixed and mastered 36 nationally distributed CDs.

MUSIC INDUSTRY WORKSHOP - For a period of 20 years, Ken has been the president of the successful independent jazz record label Positive Music Records and has been directly involved in the signing, A & R, promotion and national distribution of over 80 titles released by the label. He has worked with a staff of record company employees and international distributors. Ken has also honed his skills in fiscal management, staff development and negotiation and developed contacts throughout the music industry.

STUDIO GUITAR WORKSHOP - Earlier in Ken’s career, he lived in Los Angeles and made a living as a studio guitarist, composer and musical director, working in virtually every style of contemporary music. Ken has always enjoyed utilizing a large palette of musical styles and his varied Los Angeles musical experiences were proof of that. It was not unusual for Ken to work a television recording session in the morning playing rock guitar, a jingle session in the afternoon with a country flavor and a big band jazz show in downtown Los Angeles in the evening.

RECORD PRODUCTION WORKSHOP - Ken has produced and executive produced many successful recordings for other national artists including saxophonists Bobby Militello and Randy Villars, guitarist Grant Geissman and keyboardist Gregg Karukas. Ken’s recent production for saxophonist Eric Darius' CD "Night On The Town" was released internationally by Capitol Records. Ken also recently completed separate production projects for keyboardist Jay Rowe and saxophonist Jack Prybylski.

PUBLISHING WORKSHOP - Ken has had hundreds of songs published and used on television, radio, in films, on the internet and cable on both national and international media. He has run his own publishing company, Navarrophonic Music, for the last 23 years, working with 6-8 other composers, managing and placing compositions worldwide.
