“Into The Light” was my 25th album and I feel that it is album of much musical depth and scope, an album of music which I had always hoped I could evolve enough musically to create. I hope that you enjoy this music whole heartedly and also get some spiritual inspiration, delight and joy from it as well. That is what I am always ultimately going for. That is why I do this and what drives me to continue to create new musical journeys for you and for me.

After the release of my album “Music For Guitar & Orchestra” in September of 2018, I began to compose new music in January 2019. Because the music from “Music For Guitar & Orchestra” were older songs of mine which I reimagined with a symphony orchestra, I found that I had a lot of new ideas and melodies which must have been accumulating in my head since my last album of all original material, 2016’s “Bonfire”. And at the same time, so many of the sounds and techniques which I had immersed myself in while writing all of the dense, multi layered orchestrations for “Music For Guitar & Orchestra” were now a part of me and my ever expanding musical vocabulary. So I knew that the album which would come next would have to somehow represent much more than just a new group of contemporary jazz songs.
